2007 Little League Baseball Schedule

October 2, 2007

Today was the first day of College Mentors.  It was awesome.  I can't wait until next week!  I have the same big buddy as last year: Sean.  He's one of the coolest guys I know.  I also practiced Karate tonight, I was almost able to hit the pad held to the ceiling with my fist.  You should see my jump round-house.  I got to stay up late and watch Dancing with the Stars.  It was a busy day.

June 9, 2007

This was the best day ever.  I had a baseball game today and we won, but that wasn't the best part.  But before I can tell you that story, I have tell you another one.  Mickey had a Challenger game this morning.  Coach Bill told me they were short on players and both Syd and I could play also.  So we got to bat with the Challengers and then I got to be the catcher.  Coach Bill was teasing me when I missed a ball that I had to use the tee.  Then I pounded the ball.  Then we went to Blueberry Hill Pancake House for lunch. (BTW, that's my team sponsor) O.K., I've kept you in suspense long enough.  Whenever we win a game, the coaches choose a player to receive the game ball.  I was chosen.  I got my first game ball.  Pictures yet to come.  I felt so good.  I worked really hard, and I finally got one.  This was so great.  Then we went to the Little League Spaghetti dinner and I won a silent auction.  We has so much fun.  Now I'm at Grandma's to spend the night.  Tomorrow we are going to do something I've never done.  But you'll have to wait until my next update to find out.  Oh yeah, just in case you missed it.  I GOT A GAME BALL!!!!!!

June 8, 2007

This has been the coolest week.  I guarantee you wish you were me instead of just reading about me.  Mom say's I have an ego problem, but I don't know what she means.  Anyway, our new church, The Creek, had VBS.  The VBS was Vinnie, Tyler & the Candy Factory.  It was kinda like Willie Wonka.  It was so much fun.  I even left soaking wet from the last night.  The best part was my cousin Syd spent the whole week with Grandma and Grandpa so he went with me to VBS and we spent every night together either at Grandma and Grandpa's or at our house.  Grandma and Grandpa's pool is open, so I've been swimming all week.  Has this been the best first week of summer or what?  Tonight I'm going to a cancer survivor's dinner and tomorrow night is our Little League spaghetti dinner.  How much better can it get?  Well it does... Sydney is going to spend the night with us tomorrow night and go to church with us.  This is a great week.  Told you you'd be jealous.

May 30, 2007

I took bike riding to a new level today.  When dad and I went for a ride yesterday I saw a bike/skate park.  Today we went there and I was able to ride around on the ramps.  It was so fun.  I tried two of the ramps and had an absolute blast.  One of my friends from the bus went with us and he had a good time also.  It was too cool.

May 29, 2007

What an awesome day.  Most of the school day was spent on a field trip to the Indy Zoo.  The new waters building is so cool.  I got to pet a shark.  Yes, you read the right. I was able to touch a shark.  One of the sharks was so funny, he thought we was a dolphin.  He swam down the tank  with about 1/3rd of his body above the surface.  He was so funny.  I also took a long bike ride with dad.  We road all the way to Sarah Bolton Park.  There are some serious hills for a rookie bike rider.  I also practiced my Karate.  I'm going to be ready for tournament next year.  Well I'm off to bed.  Have a great day.

May 27, 2007

It's been a busy few weeks.  I'm not sure where to start.  You have seen my summer hair cut.  I've had a lot of reaction to that.  My baseball team has been doing well.  You can click above and see how we have finished.  Mickey & I did the "rookie run" last weekend.  that was so fun.  They had a bunch of stuff to do before and after the race.  It was so cool.  I got a bunch of pictures with the TMNT.  They are so cool.  This weekend Syd was down at grandma's house and we have had a blast all weekend.  We went to two parties yesterday.  They were so fun.  Today Mom and Dad went to the Indy 500, then we went to Spaghetti Factory.  Now I'm spending the night at Grandma's.  School is almost out and I can't wait.  We have so many plans for this summer.

As you all should know by now, today is my BIRTHDAY, and I hope you have a  great day.  I sure am.  I had a real busy weekend.  I had a baseball parade on Saturday morning, then I played catcher for Mickey's game.  I went to lunch at Edward's Drive in (great place highly recommended) with Aunt Joy, Uncle Brian, Mom, Dad and Mic.  They had a free jukebox and I played a bunch of Elvis music.  Since Stitch loved Elvis, so do I.  Then we went back for pictures and my game.  We tied 11-11.  It was a fun game.  On Sunday I had my Karate tournament.  I was in three events.  I got third place in Walk With Confidence, so I left with a trophy and a medal.  It was way cool.  Mr. Rick was my judge, so I know I did well if he gave me third.  I'm going for first in all events next year.  Dad and I are going to start practicing this week.  Then we spent almost forever cleaning up my room.  My friend Dylan is coming to visit this weekend, we are gong to have a blast.  I can't wait.  Well I'm off to enjoy by Birthday.

April 23, 2007

Tonight was my second ball game.  We tied our first game on Saturday and we won tonight 12-4.  Sean on my team hit a grand slam home run.  It was so cool!  On Sunday we went to an Indians game.  Too bad though, the Indians lost.  Then we went to Bob Evans after the game.  They have good food.  If any of you are around Indy, you should eat at Blueberry Hill Pancake House.  There are two reasons you should do this: 1.  The food is really good, and 2: they sponsor my team.  Well I need to get my homework done and get to bed.  CU L8R

April 17, 2007

It's been a busy couple of weeks and it shows no signs of stopping.  Mom's been doing her crazy walking thing, and I've done a few training walks to get ready for the Komen walk I'm doing.  Most likely, I'll have a baseball game the same day as the Komen walk, so this Saturday will be very busy.  Mom did a huge long race last weekend and we hung out with Dad cause it was cold and rainy.  He took us to a book store and I got a book about robots and it had a robotic T-Rex with it.  That has been fun.  Last night at baseball practice, we were hitting and running bases.  I had a good hit and I rant to first, the kid throwing to first threw it to hard and the first baseman missed, I ran to second.  They were still trying to get control of the ball, so I ran to third.  They overthrew third and I ran home.  In the park home run.  I love it when a plan comes together.  Then I went out and practiced riding my bike.  I'm really starting to like that thing.  Oh yea, last Sunday we had a real busy day.  First we got up real early and went to the State Museum to volunteer to help out with the "Best Buddies 5K".  I asked Kevin, the guy from Tuxedo Brothers (They run the race) if I could help.  So he and I hopped in his truck and drove over to setup the water stop and walk down the track a half mile to set up some cones so the runners/walkers wouldn't get lost.  Then I helped hand out water to the racers.  That was so cool.  I made a difference.  Then we went to breakfast at a pancake house.  The food was great.  Believe it or not, we did all the and still made it Church and I saw a girl I hadn't seen since we were in pre-school together.  After Church we went to my College Mentors banquet.  So Mom and Dad got to meet my big buddy.  Sarah, another college mentor big buddy, didn't have a little buddy, so she adopted Mickey for the day.  We had so much fun.

As soon as I can, I'll post my baseball schedule so you know when my games are in case you want to come see them.  I am still practicing for the Karate tournament and I test for my Senior Purple belt this Thursday.  Karate is so much more fun the more you know especially when parents of yellow and white belts stop me and ask me how to do things so they can help their kids.  I always love helping out.

April 3, 2007

I know, it's been way too long since I updated.  It's not that my life has been boring, it's been really busy.  So here are the highlights.  It's the middle of Karate season.  I have my Purple Belt and I'm working on my Senior Purple Belt.  My new kata is kinda tough, but I can do it.  We are also getting ready for a tournament later this month.  I have three events I'm signed up for:  Walk with confidence, katas, and best three kick drill.  We've been working hard on these.  You know, keeping eye contact with adults is not an easy thing to do for a seven year old.  It's also the start of baseball season.  I'm on the Red Sox this year.  This is my first year in minor league, it's a lot different than pee-wee.  I'm trying really hard, but I'm gonna need some extra practice with Dad to pull this one off.  I have a real cool coach, his day job is police officer.  I'm also mastering riding my bike without training wheels.  Something just clicked a week or so ago when Dad was helping me learn and I just started doing it.  It is so cool.  Now I don't want you to think that all I do is sports.  I also made the A,B honor roll at school.  I'm pretty proud of that.  This is the second time in a row.  We had a cool assignment last week: Build a birdhouse.  Now, you know my Dad, he never does things as expected.  He suggested we do a castle instead of a house.  I wasn't too sure about that, but he wanted to buy a new tool, and this was his best reason yet to do it.  I loved this project. I GOT TO USE POWER TOOLS!!!!!  I used the drill, screw driver, sander on the project.  I also got to cut with dad's new jig saw, but is was just on scrap wood.  It was so much fun.

This week is spring break.  I spend the first half at Grandma and Grandpa Deputy's house and Sydney was there.  I had a great time.  Later this week we are going to an Indy Indians game.  It will be so much fun.  Well I'm off to bed.  I wonder what I'll get into tomorrow.....

January 23,2007

As you know from looking at other pages on our site, Mom is going to walk a mini-marathon.  Please help us Kick Cancer's Butt by sponsoring her in her race.  (click on the word sponsoring to do it)  Today is going to be so cool.  After school today, I get to spend a couple hours at U of I with a college guy.  It's called College Mentors, and I finally got chosen for the program.  I can't wait.  It will be so much fun.  I'll let you know how it goes.

January 22, 2007

Guess what! It snowed, like real actual snow.  I got to throw snowballs and everything.  It was so much fun.  We didn't get to go sledding though, hopefully that works out  soon.  My buddy Zack had his birthday party yesterday and Mickey and I went to it.  It was fun and we had really good cake.  Then we went to a boring meeting at church.  Then we came home and watched a little of the football game.  The Colts won and are going to the Superbowl.  I really don't get the whole professional football thing, but Dad and Mom are trying to explain it.  Now the sad thing, my buddy Donovan died over the weekend.  I really hate cancer.  You remember, over Christmas break we went to see him and he had to be in the hospital the whole time.  Tonight is a team in training meeting, I'm not sure if I going to talk or not, but it's going to be cool because Mom is going to sign up to walk a marathon.  I want to do it to, but they tell me I'm too young.  I'm outta here.

January 20, 2007

Do you want to know a bizarre movie?  I just watched it last night.  It's called Jumanji and it's weird, but I like it.  Only I don't really want to watch it again.  We are going to another Team in Training event today.  That will be fun, but a little boring for me.  I'm glad it's finally the weekend.  We are going to the YMCA for a workout before the meeting. (Actually I'm going to play while the old people I live with are going to work out.)  Well, we need to go.

January 18,2007

Well, it's been a while, so I thought I'd post.  School is going O.K., but I'm looking forward to Spring Break.  We had awards day for school a couple days ago and I received, are you ready? Can you wait? The Honor Roll award.  Yeah, that's right, uh-huh, I'm on the honor roll.  The other thing that is going is on that we are going to change churches.  That really stinks, but Mom and Dad promise that we will find a new church with a great kid's ministry.  So I'll let you know how it's going.  What else?  Mom bought the "High School Musical" sound track from iTunes, So I'm listening to that alot.  I have almost all the songs memorized.  That's about it for now.  L8tr

January 6, 2007

I have good news and bad news.  The bad news is that Christmas break is almost over.  I am really liking this staying up late and sleeping in business.  The good news is that I've been having a lot of fun the last couple of days.  Yesterday Mom took Mickey and me to Riley to meet a little girl who just found out she has leukemia just like Mickey.  If you think about it could you say a prayer for her?  Her name is Jillian.  After that we got lunch at Wendy's.  YUM!  Then last night Mom and I went to see Night at the Museum.  It is way cool!  I loved the dinosaur named Rexxie.  He was funny!  Then today, after bugging Mom for just about forever, I got my hair dyed blond.  Well, it turned out a little orangish, but I like it.  Mom did it for me.  I wanted to look like Anakin when he was young.  Then tonight  Mom and I went to see Beauty and the Beast at a theater with Aunt Jackie and a bunch of people she works with.  There was a lot of singing and dancing.  The Beast was really good and scary, but then was really nice at the end when he was the Prince.  We got to meet some of the cast after the show.  I really liked the lady with the ship hat.  She was funny!!

(see my orangish hair???)

January 4, 2007

Christmas was really great.  I got to play with Sydney and Drew at Grandma's house, had really great food.  Got lots of cool presents.  On Christmas Eve, we went to church three times, at three different churches.  First we did our church, then in the afternoon we went up to the north side to this huge church and they had kids act out the Christmas story.  We sang carols, and got a little baggie of stuff to help act out the story.  Way cool.  Then we went to Grandma's church at ten o'clock for a really long church service.  Then we barely beat Santa to our house.  We went to Durham to see Baby D. only he was too sick and had to stay at this hospital the whole time we were there.  But I got to play with Dylan and he's a real cool kid.  We went to this real cool playland and had pizza for lunch, then went to a park.  We also watched a bunch of DVDs.  The only bad thing was the hotel only had a outside pool and it was closed.  Oh well, we didn't spend much time at the hotel anyway.  I also got to go through 4 tunnels, actually it was only 2 tunnels, but we did them going each way.  That was cool.

December 20, 2006

I had a fun night last night.  I got home from work, did that yucky homework, then Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Joy and Brian took me & Mick to the Zoo.  I got to jump in the jump house again.  We have been to Christmas at the Zoo three times this year.  It's always fun.  and cold.  Three more days until school is out.  But those teachers have one last trick to play: Report Cards.  I hate those things.

December 9, 2006

Well, I did it.  I'm now a purple belt.  So next is advanced purple, brown, advanced brown, red (my favorite color in case you didn't know), advanced red, then the ultimate - BLACK.  Dad has been working with me a bunch and it's really getting easier.  So don't mess with my sister or you'll have to answer to me.  Here's the start to my trophy room:

It's made of oak.  Everyone seems to think that's cool.  It looks like wood to me.  My dad and I made it and I earned the stuff that's connected to it.

My dad has a movie he likes it's called "A Christmas Carol".  This year we have watched four different versions of it.  Next year we are going to see it as a play in downtown Indianapolis.  It's a cool story.  You should check it out.  The Mickey Mouse version is the best.  The George C. Scott version is good but kinda scary.  The Kelsey Grammer version is just plain weird.  But it was funny last night we watched that version and "Garfield: a tale of two kitties" and Jennifer Love Hewett got engaged in both movies.  What's the chance of that?  Anyway, check out the story it's pretty cool.

December 4, 2006

I've been a very busy person the last few weeks.  Actually, I would have had more fun, except those old people I live with make me take breaks from my fun and make me go to school.  But anyway, on Thanksgiving I went to Aunt Jackie's for lunch.  That was good food.  I took my Playstation with me and played Kingdom Hearts II with Jake.  I also played basketball with Jake, and went for a walk in the woods with Jake.  I also hung out with Grant and Jessie.  We had a great day.  Dad had to work the next day, so we had to leave early.  Then on Saturday, we went to Grandma Deputy's to have extra Thanksgiving.  Syd and Drew were there.  Grandpa already has a Playstation, so I just brought some games.  I rented a Spiderman game and we all had a blast playing it.  Baby Sam was there and I got to hold him.  I can't wait until I can teach him how to play Playstation.  I spent the night at Grandma's house, Syd did also.  We stayed up late and I was really tired the next day.  On Thursday I tested for my purple belt.  Dad has been making me practice almost every night.  Now my kicks are getting better and I am getting more power.  Kata number 5 was really hard and we didn't really get it right until right before testing.  Dad had to go to work and didn't get to see testing - I hate it when he is on call, but he tells me it's important to a lot of sick and hurt people that he does his job.  Well, This Thursday I find out if I passed my belt test.  If I get my belt, we'll go to Steak & Shake for dessert after the ceremony.  Well, I've go to bed and be ready for that school thing tomorrow.  Told you I've busy.

November 22, 2006

Do you know what tomorrow is?  It's Thanksgiving, and I don't have to go to school.  Isn't that cool?  I don't have to go on Friday either.  Last night we had church.  I don't know why, usually it's on Wednesday, but this week it was Tuesday.  We didn't have Rangers, so I had to go in the sanctuary.  Zack and Gary went with me.  That was fun.  It's only one more week until I test for purple belt.  Dad is making me go through all my katas 5 times every night to help me get ready.  I'm doing them better each day, so it's starting to pay off.  I'm not sure what we are doing tonight, but I'll let you know tomorrow.  Mom is coming to school today to help with my Thanksgiving feast.  We get to be the Indians.  I hope it's the Indianapolis Indians and not the Cleveland Indians.  Maybe Rowdie will be there.  I just love baseball.....  I'm just joking, I know what kind of Indians we are gong to be, bet I had you going there didn't I?  I moved my wish list to my links section so it doesn't get lost.  Have a happy Thanksgiving and remember to Whom you are giving thanks.

November 21,2006

I went to my first Pacers game last weekend.  That was so cool.  I got to be part of the hi-five club.  Do you know what that is?  That's where a bunch of lucky kids get to go down on the basketball floor and hi-five the players as they come on to the floor to warm up.  Then we got to sit in the player's chairs and watch warm ups.  Then we got to stand on the floor during the national anthem.  That's the kind of stuff most people only dream of doing, but then again, I'm not most people.  I even caught one of the basket balls and got to throw it back to one of the Pacers.  Although, it was kinda sad that the Pacers lost, but I had fun anyway.  After the game, Dad took us to Culvers for ice cream.  That is one great restaurant.  Oh, yea, I finished my Lego Star Wars games for my PS2.  All the gold bricks, all the true Jedi status, everything.  But what do you expect from a Jedi?  Now I'm ready for a new game.  Well, have a great day!!!!

November 13, 2006

I've been very busy with school, church, rangers, karate, and mostly Lego Star Wars I and II.  Zack and or Gary are over almost everyday to play.  Mom also has a good time playing.  She does most of the boring work of gathering studs and forcing everything.  Grades were pretty good, except behavior, I guess I got to work on that.  I just can't help it, it pops into my mind and it comes out.  Dad says I need to listen to my filter that will keep me out of trouble, problem is it also keeps me out of fun.  Something real funny happened a few days go, we were in the car going somewhere talking about getting Mickey's hair cut.  I asked if her hair was still falling out.  She said, "I'll check," and pulled her hair.  She then looked at her fist and said "no." We al lost it.  The Thursday after Thanksgiving I test for my purple belt.  Dad and I have been practicing almost every night and I'm getting better and better.  The pops I get when I kick the pad are getting louder and louder.  A couple night ago I was practicing palm punches and I did like 6 in a row and  actually knocked Dad off balance and he fell down.  Tht was so cool.  I hate spelling and spelling tests.  I guess my Dad had lots of problems with spelling and I am carrying on the tradition.  Well I'm off to bed.  Talk at you later.  Hey! Drop me an e-mail if you get a chance.

October 14, 2006

It's been a little over two weeks, a bunch has happened.  We went to the Light the Night walk.  The walk raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  We raised over $600.00.  I raised over $200.00 all by myself.  Here's my new Jedi pose.  I did it after the walk.

I also started my next Karate class.  I'm working on my Purple belt.  This kata is my hardest so far.  But I'll beat it.  Today was really cool.  We dropped Mickey off at Char's haouse and we went to clinic without her.  It was sibling day.  That's a day for brothers and sisters of cancer kids to hang out with the cancer clinic staff and talk about what we are gong through.  IT was so cool.  Mom and Dad left to go talk to the adults,  I stayed with the other kids and Andy and some other cancer clinic people.  We did a relay race in the confusion room.  Then we did something real cool.  We decorated pillow cases.  One one side we decorated what made us happy, on the other side we decorated what we didn't like.  What was so cool, it upstairs with the adults, Mom and Dad did the same thing,  Then we sat in a big circle with the parents and showed what we drew.  It was real fun.  Then Mom and Dad talked to Hannah's parents, like forever.  Then we rode the people mover, then came home.  Guess what I'm doing as soon as I finish my update!, C'mon guess.  LEGO STAR WARS II, so CU.

September 29, 2006

Another week has ended.  Just a few more weeks until this torture of NO TV is over.  Well actually it's not so bad.  Mom and Dad are having a hard time holding me to one hour of playstation.  Zack and Gary are coming over almost every day.  As soon as I get my homework done it's off to Star Wars land.  I went to the apple orchard earlier this week and asked the greatest Mom in the world to make me an apple strudel like Larry had in the last Veggie Tales video we rented.  She did a real good job making it, but I didn't like the paper like crust.  So I'll stick with apple pie.  Dad has been DVRing Mythbusters, and I love it.  The stuff they do is so cool (did you see the new link????).  I did something real cool last night.  I learned how to change the wallpaper on the computer.  I have had a blast.  Mom and Dad never know what it will look like when the screensaver comes off.  Tomorrow I'm going to see my cousins from Colorado, but more about that tomorrow.  Oh, Yea, by the way, Sunday is the Light the Night walk for Leukemia.  I raised $200.00 dollars myself.  It's not to late.  You can donate on Mom's electronic site.  She hasn't raised as much as I have.  Help her out, it'll make her feel good.  It was kinda hard to ask the first person for a donation, but it got easier each time.  It feels good to help out.  I know I'm important.  Karate starts next week.  Purple Belt, here I come.  Well, it's late and I've got a big day tomorrow.  CU later.

P.S. What the last thing to go through a bugs mind when he hits a windshield???

His butt. te he he

Check out the Bionicle I created

Man, that old dude that updates my site has been real lazy.  Look at this almost one whole month since he updated.  People are going to stop looking at this cause it never changes.  Anyway, things have been flowing along just fine.  You remember that Play Station Santa brought me last Christmas?  Well, I've been busy on it.  My friends, Zach and Gary, and I have been working on Lego Star Wars and Jak and Dexter.  Well, we beat both games.  Then you know what happened????  Dad took his birthday money and bought Lego Star Wars II for me.  This is a awesome, cool game.  I highly recommend it.  I can play it for hours.  Check the link to the left to see the game.  Legos and Star Wars, two great things that go great together.  Oh yea, School is going O.K.  I'm ready for summer vacation.  I had to get glasses to help with desk work.  I get head aches if I do a bunch of close up work with out them.  I also lost another tooth.  But that's not really big news anymore.   Karate starts in a couple weeks.  Soon I'll be a purple belt.  Here's a picture of my glasses:

August 21, 2006

Well, today was the first day of Mom & Dad's new rule.  I will be the first to say "I don't like it!"  NO TV during the week for the first grading period.  Grandma and Grandpa Deputy did this to Dad and now he's doing it to us.  I only get 1 hour of Playstation a day also.  I really don't like it.  School is going O.K., Mom bought me this cool flexible ruler.  It was too much fun to play with so now my teacher has a cool flexible ruler.  Mom is going to get me one that's not so fun.  This weekend, Sydney is coming over.  Oh yea, we also get to see our new baby cousin, but Sydney is coming over.  I can't wait.  CU

August 5, 2006

A lot has happened sine we last spoke.  First of all, Summer School is over.  I am a happy camper.  Do you remember my new fish, George?  I won him at the fair a few weeks ago.  Well, it was kinda close for a few days,  He was curled up on the corner breathing real hard.  Then he straightened up, and started swimming a little.  Then he started eating.  This morning, dad decided it was time.  George is now in the aquarium with the other fish.  He kinda hid for a while, but now he's swimming with everyone else.  He seems so happy.  Last Monday we went to King's Island.  That was so cool.  First we got in Grandma's van and drove almost forever.  Jessie, Grant, & Jake went with us.  They have this Eiffel Tower there.  It is so cool.  We rode in an elevator all the way to the top.  I'm not really fond of heights, but it was so cool!  We played at the water park, but then we had thunder and lightning.  I got kinda freaked out.  Dad took me to get changed and we waited the storm out in the bathroom.  I had a bunch of energy so Dad had me do katas in the middle of the bathroom.  He's so silly.  Then the rain stopped and we went to eat.  and then...and then... I rode my first roller coaster.  I hated every single second of it.  Mom and Dad love roller coasters - I think they are crazy.  Dad even rode in the very  front car on the Beast and didn't hold on at all.  I told him to not die when they went to get in line.  Thank goodness he didn't.  Then Mom rode the "pendulum of doom" (That's what dad called it)  it's really called delerium.  She liked it.  Dad said "no way."  Then I rode the Scooby doo ride like a zillion times.  Jake and Grant and sometimes Dad went with me.  I absolutley love that ride.  I also rode a bunch of other rides, but Scooby was my favorite.   We also had the blood drive.  The best part of it was a huge slide that Dad and Grant setup.  I played on it for hours.  Tonight I'm sleeping over at Zach's so Mom and Dad can go to one of those boring races they make me watch on Sunday's.  This is going to be a great weekend.

Today was a good and bad day.  First the good - I got satisfaction on my behavior at school today.  It had been poor the last three days.  I have a tiny talking problem.  I just say what whatever I think,  I also like to answer all the questions and usually forget to raise my hand and wait to be called on.  But this morning I prayed that Jesus would help me control my mouth.  Then we went to the fair tonight.  I got to eat cob in the corn (That's what dad calls it, the rest of the world calls it corn on the cob) .  We went in a big tent with lots of booths set up.  There was a magic man at one booth.  I got to help him with some tricks and got to pet the rabbit in the hat.  It was fun!  Then I did a bungee bounce.  That was so cool!  Then I played some games.  I won a fish.  His name is George Jr.  Aunt Joy had a fish she won at the fair 10 years ago named George.  He died a couple weeks ago, so I named mine after hers.  We stopped at Wal-Mart and bought a fish bowl for him.  If he lives a couple of weeks and seems healthy we'll put him in the Aquarium we got Dad for father's day.  Now for the bad.  We went out to the truck and someone had keyed the whole side of the truck.  Scratched the paint all the way down the side.  Dad and Mom weren't very happy to see that.  We'll I'm off to bed.  Good night all

July 12, 2006

School is going well, but I have a problem none of you saw coming.  I talk to much, and at the wrong time.  Zack, my best friend, is in my class.  I just can't stop talking to him.  Mom is offering me Pokemon cards to not get bad reports.  I'm trying real hard.  Last night was rangers.  We made pretzels and smoothies.  I ate a plain strawberry.  YUCK!!! that was so sour.  We also had a silly race.  Commander Dad tied a string to everyone's right foot and tied a water balloon to the other end of the string.  Then we had to walk across the yard to see who could get tot he other side without breaking the balloon.  I didn't do so well.  But then we got to break the balloons.  That was the fun part.  My buddy Zack came to Rangers with me.  I think he had a good time.

July 9,2006

Yesterday Mom went to garage sales and bought me a Pokemon Yatzee game.  It is so much fun,  I've played it a zillion times and I usually win.  But what else should you expect from a Pokemon master.  We went to church today and it was pretty fun.  If the words church and fun sound strange together to you, you should come to my church.  Mostly I just played with Zack today.  He lives in the house behind me.  We have played a bunch this summer.  He's in my summer school class, so we see alot of each other.  Mickey has her blood test tomorrow.  Hopefully she will be off house arrest and she can start summer school.  It's hard to have Zack over and have to stay away form Mickey.  I really hate that she is so sick.  But Mom and Dad say she's getting better.  Well, I have to go to bed to get ready for school, so I'll chat later.  Drop me a line on my guest book.  I really like getting something besides junk in it.

July 8, 2006

Wow, it's been a long time since I updated.  A bunch as happened.  Let's see, where will I start.  Dates really don't mean a lot to me, so these are in no particular order.  I went to Holiday World.  It is a cool place.  I rode bumper boats, the twister, I drove old fashioned cars and only wrecked once, then we went to the water park.  They have a cool wave pool.  I just love those.  I also rode the lazy river.  But it's not lazy when I'm there.  I think I set a new track record.  Mom was left in the dust (or my wake).  I slept most of the way home.  Then we took Grandma's van home so Mickey and I could stay asleep.  The next day I went to clinic with Mickey for her spinal tap visit.  She did great.  I was able to help a lady restock the toy chest.  She gave me one of them.  It was so cool.  Now I'm in summer school.  It's O.K. I don't have homework so that's pretty good.  For Dad's birthday, we went to downtown to a car show with Aunt Joy, Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and Mick.  Then we went to Spaghetti Factory for dinner.  I really love their meatballs.  Then we came home and I got to watch a PG13 Movie - it was really weird.  Your task, if you choose to accept it, is to guess what movie it was.  (Hint: there a link to our DVD collection on out main page)  Then we had a fire and burned marshmallows.  We ended the day with fireworks in the back yard.  My buddy Nathan almost spent the night with us after church, but he got home sick and went home.  Better luck next time.

May 27,2006

I did the coolest thing today.  I'm sure you have read about my friend Ray.  He lost his fight with cancer while we were in Florida.  But anyway, his family had a fund raising race today and I ran in it.  It was a 5K race.  For those of you who don't know, it's a really long, long way.  I finished in 1 hour and 5 minutes.  It was great fun.  Mickey rode in the wagon.  I got a little jealous in the middle, but I toughed it out.   Now we are headed to Grandma and Grandpa's to go swimming.  (It's your turn to be jealous).  See Ya!

See, I even pulled the wagon for a while!

May 18, 2006

What a cool day - literally.  I went to school as usual, but this is where it gets strange.  Mom showed up in my room and asked Mrs. Roberts if she can borrow me for a while.  I went with mom and ran the video camera while she told a story for Mrs. Woods.  I was pretty special.  After school I came home and got my homework done.  Mom and Dad and Mick had dinner, but I wasn't hungry because I snacked through homework.  Then we left for the Indy Indian's game.  I found Rowdie and he signed my hat.  that was so cool.  Then it happened...RAIN.  I wanted to go home, but those weird people who happened to drive me to the game just sat there and got wet.  Well the rain finally stopped.  We were sitting about 7 rows from the field and there was a foul ball hit to one of the players helping a pitcher warm up.  He picked up the ball and threw it to us.  He threw it over the heads of the people in front of us.  Dad caught it and gave it to me.  So guess what I did next. Come on guess! Mom and I went to find Rowdie again.  Two signatures in one night can you believe it.  Now I have two cool baseballs.  One signed by Buddy the Bat form Louisville and one by Rowdie.  I was so happy that we stayed through the rain.  Did you realize that this is Thursday.  That means it is a school night.  So we got to stay up late.  Life is Great!!!  Click on my picture to see the picture bigger.

We also received some good news for us, but not so good for our favorite baseball player.  Chris Duffy has been sent back down from the Pirates.  So we will be able to watch him play again.

May 16, 2006

Things are getting back to normal.  Mom and Dad are working out again, so we get to go to Kid's Club more often.  That's pretty fun.  I have my first baseball game of the season tonight.  Hopefully it doesn't rain.  My team has had a few games, but since I was on vacation, I missed them.  I'm really excited about tomorrow night and Thursday night.  Tomorrow I'm getting my first guitar lesson.  I just can't wait.  I also have another baseball game, but I get my first guitar lesson.  On Thursday we are going to an Indy Indians game.  I just can't wait to get there.  They are so much fun!!!!!  Oh well, guess it's time for school.  C-Ya

May 10, 2006

Well, we are back in Indiana.  Today I had to go back to school.  What a bummer.  I took in my travel journal and a gob of pictures.  The other kids were real interested in what I did.  I'm ready for my sun burn to go away!!!!  O.K. I didn't tell you this because I was too busy getting ready for Florida, but since it was my birthday last month (if you want to know how many more shopping days until my next one just look up a little) I received some cash in birthday cards.  I took some of the money I received and ordered a guitar.  It came while I was gone.  There is a real cool guy named James at church who is going to teach me how to play.  I'll have mom take a picture of it and I'll post it.  See Ya!

May 3, 2006

We just stayed around the village today.  If any of you are planning to go to Florida with a 7 and 8 year old, I strongly recommend a break after three days in the parks.  I also recommend to always have a pool available.  We spent most of the day in the pool, but as it really started to get hot, Mom and Dad made us go back to the villa.  Mickey crashed asleep within two minutes.  I watched Lilo and Stitch.  Then we went back to the pool.  The Ice Cream Palace is a wonderful place.  We were able to ride the train after it got dark.  That was so cool, I got to ring the bell and blow the whistle.  This is such a cool place.  Then Miss Merry, Mayor Clayton's wife came by with Jenna to tuck Mickey and I into bed.  Then we went to sleep.  Tomorrow we go to Sea World the back to the Village for Christmas.  I told you, I love this place.

May 1, 2006

Wow it's been a long time since I updated.  But yesterday was so cool I had to tell you all about it.  We started by getting up real early and going to Epcot for breakfast with the Princesses, that was O.K.  Mickey wore a Cinderella dress and everyone told her how cute she was - Yuck.  Then we went to meet some characters.  The place pretty much stopped as all the characters gathered around us and gave us autographs, and had our pictures taken.  All the other families had to wait until we were done.  We felt so special.  Then Dad and I went to the Living Seas.  We saw all the real fish that Nemo was drawn from.  I also learned that some stingrays do not grow very big.  If you get a chance to see one a bamboo sharks and cuttlefish are really cool for different reasons.  Then I became an official monorail co-pilot (4 times).  The front car is the only way to fly.  Once we went to the Magic Kingdom, Mickey and I got a little grumpy (not the dwarf) and Mom and Dad got more than a little mad at us.  Mom took us to a Bakery to get a little food, but Dad made a better suggestion and we had lunch.  We had the best corn dog nuggets ever.  Then Mickey and I got along much better.  Things really started to go much better after that.  We went to Tomorrow Land and I rode the Buzz Lightyear ride with Dad.  That was so cool.  I didn't shoot so well, I only scored 700 points (Dad scored 134,600)  But Zurg ended up in jail, se we did our job.  Dad called mom on her cell phone to tell her we see Buzz signing autographs.  So we all got together to get an autograph.  Then we rode the TTA.  That was really cool (except during the really dark part inside space mountain).  This was really cool, but I saw Mom and Mick and I yelled "Hey, Mom!" and she looked up and waved at me.  There was thousands of people named mom and my mom still heard me.  Then Dad and I drove Indy cars.  Dad drives real cars so much better than Indy cars.  Then we went on a autograph blitz.  Aladdin was pretty cool.  He was showing me some moves that he does in his dance.  Then Mom and I rode the magic carpet ride.  Then more autographs.   Then we took two monorail rides back Epcot to go back to the Village.  We kinda forgot where we parked.  So Dad got us in the general area and gave me his keys to push the horn button to find our car.  Well we heard it when it started honking, then we couldn't get it to stop.  Mom saved the day.  But it was so funny.  Then we came back to the pool party and we swam some more.  Chelsea and I swam a bunch.  Then we had Pizza and came back and fell asleep about 10 minutes after going to bed (Mickey fell asleep first).  What a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 21, 2006

Well, it started off as a normal school day.  The weatherman lied to us and said we would get 6 to 10 inches of snow over night.  Well, we didn't so I had to go to school.  So I went and worked real hard (Mom and Dad think so anyway) then it got strange.  Mom came to pick us up, we didn't have to ride the bus home.  She told us Dad left work early and we were going sledding on the 3 or so inches of snow we got during the day.  So we went home and put on way to many clothes, hopped into the truck and went to dad's sledding hill.  We had a blast. I got o ride my snow board.  I fell a bunch.  So I rode the sled Santa gave us mostly.  I met some college kids and we used each other sleds, they had a huge blown up tube to ride on.  They tried my snow board.  Two or three of them did really good on it.  Dad wiped out about 3/4 the way down the hill when he tried.  Then Mom said it was time to go.  So I thanked the college kids for letting me use their sled and we left.  We stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way home and had dinner.  One great cheeseburger.  We stood by the fire and got warm and Mom taught me how to play checkers.  She did the cheating double jump thing.  I think I was beating her so she made it up so she could win.  Then we came home and did the yucky homework stuff and crashed.

March 5, 2006

Holy Cow!  Another month since I updated.  I can't even think of everything that has happened over the last month. I can think of a few things.  Like I went to the circus last week with school.  It was fun.  Dad was gone last week to Chicago.  I wanna go there sometime.  He brought me home a Lego Star Wars kit to make a ship.  I'm having fun making lots of little ships.  Here are pictures of a couple I made:

We went to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at IMAX! WOW!  That is one big movie screen!  Mickey and I built a fort that stayed up for a few days.  We had fun with it!  I am getting over a sinus infection.  YUCK!  That's about it for the past month.  I'll try to update before another month passes, but I can't promise anything.  I am a busy person, you know!!  :)

February 3, 2006

Wow, can you believe it's been almost a month since I updated.  I know Mickey has told you some of my doings.  But I thought I'd fill you in on the rest.  Every free moment I have had I try to play Lego Star Wars on my PS2.  I have almost finished Episode 1, I'm part way through Episode 2, and Chapter 1 of Episode 3 is really hard.  This game is so much fun.  I'm so ready for our Disney trip.  I can't wait.  Dad says we might get some snow this weekend.  I hope there is enough to go sledding.  We got a sled for Christmas and I want to use it!!!!

January 9, 2006

Back to school today.  Bummer, dude!  It wasn't all bad, though.  I'm in Miss Barrett's reading group now.  I really like her.  I started the purple books!  The first one is hard!  But I did a good job reading tonight.  I found out from Jessie and Nathan that a scorpion is an arachnid.   How cool!  Thanks, Jessie and Nathan, for looking that up for me!!!  I have been watching a lot of Star Wars movies.  I have watched all but number 6.  Mom said we can probably watch it tomorrow night.  I really like the movies and ask a lot of questions during them.  It's confusing sometimes for me, but I still like them.

January 5, 2006

Welcome to a new year!  I've had a lot of fun in the last few days.  First of all, I got to stay up till midnight on New Years Eve!!!  How cool!  We had party poppers to open every hour till midnight.  One of them had a plastic scorpion in it.  Can anyone tell me if a scorpion is a crustacean or an insect?  Mom and Dad don't know so I thought I'd ask you guys.  The other really cool thing that happened just happened yesterday.   Mom took us to the zoo with our cousin Jessie.  After the dolphin show Mickey went down to the front to talk to one of the trainers.  She told her that she went backstage once.  The trainer remembered her and asked if she wanted to go backstage and say hi to Nova, one of the dolphins Mickey trained last time.  Mickey said yes!  So we all got to go back and see Nova and Ripley and Sundance.  I fed Ripley some slimy dead fish and had him do a trick.  I pushed my hand down toward the floor then raised it up in the air.  The trainer did it at the same time and all three dolphins got up on their tails and started tail walking back across the pool.  I am so good!!! Then we all got to pet Nova.  Yes!  We actually got to pet a dolphin.  That was the coolest thing ever!  The trainer held on to her and we bent down at the side of the pool and rubbed her back.  She felt like rubber.  It was really neat!!  Then we got to go see the dogs they use in the show.  One had a cone on her head and was funny with it.  She was very friendly even if she did look silly!!  Today we stayed in jammies all day long.  I played lots of Lego Star Wars on Playstation 2 today.  Mom played with me for a long time, too.   Tomorrow I have to go to the dentist to get one of my molar teeth fixed.  YIKES!

December 28, 2005

Wow!  So much has happened since I updated.  What do you want to hear about first?  I want to tell you about Christmas first.  I woke up at 4:30 in the morning that day.  Did you know it's still dark at 4:30 in the morning?  It is.  And according to Mom, we do not get up that early - ever!  So I went back to sleep.  The next time I woke up it was light outside so I knew we could get up.  First we dumped out our stockings and looked at them.  Lots of cool little things in there.  Then we went into the front room.  Santa got my letter asking for a Doodle Monster because there was one under the tree.  We had fun opening presents.  Mickey and I got a Play Station 2!!  And a new TV to play it on!  Whoa! It is so cool!  I got Lego Star Wars to play on it.  That is one fun game.  After breakfast we went to church.  Pastor Greg had all the kids come up front and he read the Christmas story to us then gave us candy canes filled with M & M's.  After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Deputy's house.  All my cousins from that side of the family were there.  We had a lot of fun playing PS2 at Grandpa's.  Everything was fun and cool till Mickey got sick that night.  I almost had to leave but Grandpa said I could spend the night if I wanted.  I wanted!  Sydney and Stephan and their mom and dad were staying, too, so it was fun.  Mom and Dad had to take Mickey back to the ER.  I played with Syd and Steph the next morning till they had to leave.

Yesterday Mom took Mickey and me to the dentist.  I have to go back a few more times to get my molar teeth fixed.  Something about the way they are made and they have little cracks in them.  After the dentist we picked Dad up for lunch.  We went to Mister J's.  I've never been there.  I want to go back!  They had great cheeseburgers!  YUM!!!  Then Mom took us to the video store.  She had gift cards for Mick and me.  I rented a couple of PS2 games to try out.  I really like The Hobbit.  I have been watching The Lord of the Rings movies in cartoon, so this game is really fun for me.  Mom broke her glasses yesterday so we had to go to the mall to get them fixed.  Mickey and I took our Christmas money from Grandma and Grandpa Bennett so we could get some stuff with it.  I got a memory chip for the PS2, a Power Ranger cell phone from the Disney store, some Disney dollars for our trip next year, and a used Pokemon game for my Game Boy.  We had fun shopping!  Then Dad told me I could stay up and play my new game as long as I wanted.  I laid in bed and played for a long time.  That was cool since I normally have to go to sleep when I go to bed.  I slept in this morning.  Now I'm getting ready to watch "Return of the King" cartoon.  So I'll catch you later!

December 24, 2005

Just a few more hours...  Do any of you know what Santa's favorite cookies are?  I do and I'm making them right now - Butterscotch Chip Cookies (That's what Dad told us).  He's going to be so happy when he gets to our house.   Last night Mom got the Polar Express on DVD and we watched it as a family.  It's a really cool movie.  Then the house went crazy!  Dad took Mickey's temperature and it was like a bazillion degrees.  They didn't believe it so they got another thermometer and it was still high.  Then you know what they did?!?  The got a third thermometer and it said the same thing.  So we all changed back into clothes from jammies went to Riley E. R.  We were there a long time.  I got to watch Mickey's port get accessed (it was a HUGE needle, but it was kinda cool too. (I'm glad it wasn't me)  I helped take her blood pressure, take her temperature, and I led the way back  from X-ray.  I got new stickers.  I was trying to be helpful and answer the doctor's questions.  Mom and Dad got a little annoyed.  Sometime really late Mickey and I started getting a little grumpy, so Dad took me to the waiting room.  They had a bunch of cool toys to play with and we played tic-tac-toe.  I won 4 out of 5 games.  Dad's not real good at that game.  Then we want on a expedition (That's a big word that means go look for something) to find the restroom.  I think Dad really knew where it was, but wanted to let me explore a little.  On our way back we saw a big glass case with a bunch of dolls in it (boring), but they had some pictures of Riley kids with Santa Claus.  Both Dad and I had to look twice, because one of the pictures looked like Mickey.  It wasn't but it looks a lot like her.  Well, I need to go play something else now.  Have a Merry Christmas!!!!

December 20, 2005

Well here we are just a few monsterously long days until Christmas.  I can't wait but I bet you guessed that by me new count down timer Dad set up for me.  Now I have three things to check whenever I go to my page:  The weather, the time, and how long until Christmas.  You know what?!? Christmas is on a Sunday this year.  I think it's cool to go to God's house on Jesus' birthday.  Mom and Dad said some churches cancelled because it's Christmas.  That makes no since to me.  I like my friends to come over on my birthday, I bet Jesus does too.  Oh well.  We have had a bunch of fun lately.  We went to Christmas at the zoo.  Mom actually paid for us to get our picture with Santa.  I never thought I'd see that.  We saw real reindeer, but the were girls.  Here's a bit of what I learned that night: boy reindeer loose their antlers in August.  In December only girl reindeer have antlers.  I think someone should tell the movie people.  We also went driving around looking at Christmas lights.  I found it funny that a bunch of people who have the reindeer in their yards put a red light on the nose to look like Rudolph.  I'm hoping Mom will buy some of those reindeer after Christmas and we can decorate too.  But I'm betting Dad's to cheap.  We had a Birthday party for Jesus last Sunday after we sang in church, and we are having a Christmas party tomorrow night at Rangers.  This is a great time of the year.

December 12, 2005

Gosh!  It's been a whole week since I was here.  Mom and Dad went on a trip to Durham, NC to visit Baby Donovan.  You know what's in Durham?  The Durham Bulls.  I want to go there and see them play sometime.  I like baseball.  Grandma Bennett came here for a couple of days while Mom and Dad were gone.  We got a lot of snow, but not enough to cancel school.  I was bummed!  Then on Friday Mickey and I spent the night at Grandma Deputy's.  Sydney, Stephan and Drew were there, too.  We had a blast!  All of us kids went outside and sledded down the hill by Grandma's house.  It was fun!!  Then after Mom picked us up, we came home for a little bit.  Then we went to look at Christmas lights.  We got McDonald's drive thru so we could eat and look at lights.  Dad really surprised us.  He took us to the zoo for the lights there!  Mickey and I sat with Santa, talked to Mrs. Claus, and saw some reindeer.  Then we rode the train.  The lights were pretty boring on the train ride.  Last year they were better.  Oh, well.  Maybe they'll be good again next year!  I am so excited about Christmas break.  I have no idea what we're going to do, but I hope I get to sleep in, watch TV and eat a lot!  That would be a great break for me!!!!

December 5, 2005

I had a great idea today.  I asked Mom if we could go to Fazoli's for dinner.  I reminded her we had coupons for free kids' meals.  She and Dad talked about it and said we could go!  It was great!!  I had spaghetti and meatballs and breadsticks.  YUM!!  Then when we came home, Dad had Mom drop us off and go get some beads.  She wants to make some earrings, but Dad was being sneaky.  He wanted her to leave so we could bring in her Christmas present and wrap it while she was gone.  I would tell you what we got her, but it's a secret!!!

December 4, 2005

Well, I finally did it!  Last night I stayed up past midnight!!  I have wanted to do that forever and I finally got to.  Mom and Dad went with John and Karen to see A Christmas Carol last night.  Caleb and Faith, John and Karen's kids, stayed here and played with us.  Jessie and Nathan were here to hang out with us too.  I have to remind Mom not to say babysitters because we're too old for babysitters.  We just need an adult or two around to make sure we don't burn the house down or something.  So anyway, it was fun playing with all of them AND I got to stay up really really late!  I was so tired today, though, that I crawled up behind Mom on the couch and fell asleep.  I told her I was faking sleep but she said I was silent and not moving and so I *had* to be asleep because otherwise I would not have been silent and staying still that long.  I guess I did fall asleep because the COLTS were playing when I laid down and someone else was playing when I opened my eyes.   But hey, the COLTS won, so I was happy!!!

December 1, 2005

Guess what?!?!?  I got my green belt tonight!  YEA!!  And I got a gold medal for perfect attendance.   Mr. Rick couldn't be at class tonight so Mr. John taught instead.  He was harsh!  We had to do very slow pushups over and over and over.  My arms were tired by the time he got to 10!  I think we did more like 20 because he had trouble counting.  He said 1,2,3,4,5,6,6,7,7,7,7,8,8,8,8,8,9,9,9,10.  That's a bunch!!  Here are some pictures of me from tonight.

Good picture of my back, Mom!  At least we can see my belt in my hand, though.      Then Mr. John had us tie our own belts.  I think I did pretty good!

November 30, 2005

What a weird day!  I woke up early and went in to snuggle with Mom.  She told me she was sleeping in for a while because she had to take Mickey to the ER last night.  I had no idea they had gone!  It's okay now.  Mickey is fine.  She just had a fever and had to get medicine.  I missed her today at school.  So when I came home, Mom let us play for a while before I did my homework.  I read to Mickey for my reading homework and she signed my paper that I did the work.  I sure do like my sis!

I almost forgot.  We got a box from the UPS guy last night.  It was from Melissa, Baby D's mom.  There was something for all of us in it.  She sent me a cool science kit. Thanks, Melissa!!!!!!!!!

November 26, 2005

Well, not a lot going on here.  Yesterday we hung out at home and put up our Christmas tree.  Today we went to church and helped decorate there.  I got to climb the ladder and put the top of the tree on.  Then I put on a bunch of ornaments.  I was calling them orbs.  Isn't that a cool word??  When we got ready to leave church, Dad suggested eating lunch at Cheeseburger in Paradise!  WOOHOO!!!  I love that place!  We even got dessert.  It was chocolate nachos.  YUM!  We came home and finished decorating our tree.  Again, I climbed the ladder to put orbs on the top branches.  I had fun looking at the ornaments Mom and Dad have gotten me since I was born.  Mom said Mickey and I can pick out our own ornaments this year.  That's going to be fun!

November 25, 2005

Ready for some pictures of me??  Here you go!

Left to right: Me at Thanksgiving lunch; Jake and me watching TV (I wanna have hair like his!) and finally a self-portrait.

November 24, 2005

Thanksgiving - I didn't have to go to school today, Dad didn't have to go to work today.  That makes it a pretty cool day all by itself.  We did take the long truck ride to Farmland.  Belle and Zoe went with us.  They slept in the back of the truck all the way there.  Then they spent the rest of the day trying to get inside the house cuz Dad says they are spoiled.  Uncle Mike had a fire burning in the fire place.  That was so cool.  I want one of those in our next house.  We ate in Uncle Mike's workshop and he has this really cool stool.  It has a motorcycle seat for a seat.  I rolled it all over room.  That was great fun.  Then Aunt Jackie gave me a ball with an eye in it.  Me and Dad, (darn it, I did that wrong again)  Dad and I rolled it back and forth across the floor while we was trying to watch football.  Believe it or not, it only took a couple of minutes to get home.  We got in the truck to go home, without Mom, and I rested my eyes for a couple of minutes and we were home.  What a cool day.

UGH!  I have been sick for a couple of days.  I had headaches a lot and had to blow my nose all the time.  Yesterday I had a fever at school and Mom came to get me.  We went to see Dr. E.  They have cool rooms at our doctor's office.  We got the room that had one wall painted red and had maps and flags on the other walls.  I liked it 'cause red is my favorite color.  Did you know that?  Now you do.  But back to my nose - I ended up having a sinus infection and have to take medicine to get better.  I felt pretty good last night so Mom, Dad, Mickey and I went to work at church for a while.  I got to help paint in the -don't tell anyone - ladies' restroom!  Shhh!  I know I'm a boy but I was working in the girls' bathroom!  HEHEHE!  I did a good job painting a wall and my hands and my sweatpants!  Now I have a pair of work pants!  But I'm going to have to get new black sweats since mine look like a zebra now!

Oh!  I forgot to tell you.  We had a substitute teacher on Friday.  Mom knew about it and told me Friday morning that if I would be extra special good and helpful to the sub I would get a prize.  She said something about kids being naughty when there's a sub and she didn't want me to do that.  I did great!  Mom waited till she heard it from my regular teacher, though.  So yesterday when we went to get my medicine I picked out a little Tech Dude with trading cards.  He's a little skateboarder with magnets in his feet so they stick to his board.  He's fun!

Well, only one more day of school before vacation!  WOOHOO!  And we are having a feast tomorrow at school so I'm even more excited.  My class is making butter to put on the corn bread that another class is making.  That'll be fun!

I am going to do Brad's entry tonight a little different.  Normally we do everything from his point of view, but tonight I want to share just how wonderful our son is.  He did a couple of things today that brought tears of joy and pride to my eyes.  This afternoon we went over to church early before choir practice to take care of a couple of things.  The kids and I were walking back into the building and noticed some bits of trash around the yard.  Brad said he wanted to clean up God's yard.  We worked for about 10 minutes walking around and looking for trash.  He didn't want to go in when we had to.  He said it made him happy to clean up God's yard.  The other thing he did nearly blew me away.  I stopped at Walgreen's to pick up a refill on Mickey's Flovent (steroid inhaler for her asthma).  I was told that since this was the 2nd refill, I would need to do it mail-order for insurance to cover it.  I decided not to get it today since it's not a rescue inhaler and wait to call insurance tomorrow rather than pay $91 for it today.  When I came home, I told Michael that I didn't get it because I didn't want to spend that much on it.  Brad came out of his room with $2.73 - the total contents of his piggy bank.  He said, "Here, Mom, use this for Mickey's medicine."  Talk about turning Mom to mush!  I hugged him tight, thanked him and explained to him why I didn't get the medicine and that he could have his money back.  He reminded me that he owed me money for a toy I bought him a couple of weeks ago.  Then he asked if he could work off the other dollar he still owes on it.  This is huge for him.  He's a very giving, caring kid but this is beyond wonderful.  Helps remind me of all I have to be thankful for this year!

Whoa, dude!  I did it!  Tonight was karate testing.  I was nervous before class, but I think I did a good job.  When we got home I asked Mom if I was terrific and she said I was.  I get my green belt in two weeks.  We don't have class next week.  You know why?  'Cause it's Thanksgiving.  Mr. Rick made us laugh a bunch of times in class tonight because he'd say "Say gobble, gobble" and we all would say it back to him. It was funny.

I'm still waiting for the exciting stuff to happen.  I've been having fun, though.  Friday I did a double karate class since I missed a class the week before.  I want to make sure I get a perfect attendance award again this semester.  It was a lot of hard work!!  But I did good!  Saturday Mom and Mickey went to some girl thing at the fairgrounds so Dad and I hung out at home and did guy stuff.  Dad had a piece of wood that we cut to make rubber band guns.  I got to use a drill, a saw and a sander.  It was way cool!!  That night we went to Grandma Deputy's so I could play with Sydney.  I ended up spending the night.  Syd and I had a good time playing light sabers.

Not much has been happening around here.  I'm ready for something exciting to happen.  But I don't know what.  We did get Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the other day.  Mickey and I like to dance like the Oompa Loompas.  Did you know that when you talk about yourself and another person, it's polite to say their name first and your name last?  I learned that in school.  Just thought you might like to know that.  Today we had pizza for lunch at school.  Can you believe I finally met a pizza I don't like.  The crust is yucky and makes me feel sick.  So Mom made me a jelly sandwich because Dad took the peanut butter to Rangers last night so we could make some cool bird feeders out of pine cones and peanut butter and bird seed because we were talking about taking care of others and we used all the peanut butter and Mom didn't know it till this morning.  But that's okay since jelly is the best part of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

So what do you think?  Pretty cool blog, huh?  I helped.  I picked out the background for my page.  Guess what else I did today.  I tied my shoes and then tied one of Mickey's for her.  I can tie shoes and fasten my own seatbelt.  I figure I'm just about a man now.  Mom, Mickey and I went to the library tonight.  I wore a leather jacket that made me look so cool that I think I could go out by myself.  That's how cool I was!

OH!  You know our fiddler crabs?  Well, they both shed their shells a few days ago.  It was wild.  The shells looked just like the crabs except they were clear.  The crabs had to hid under a decoration in the tank until their new shells got hard and they felt safe to come out.  It is so neat!!!
